• How long will it take for my voucher to arrive?
  If you order a voucher to be sent by post then you should receive it within 3-4 working days. If you are worried about your voucher arriving on time then you can always download a copy of your voucher (you get a link when you purchase the voucher) or phone us with your order number and we will be happy to email you a copy. Electronic vouchers are available for you to download as soon as you place your order.
• What do I do with an electronic voucher?
  Our electronic vouchers are in PDF format which you can easily print or email to the person you are giving the voucher to.
• How many people can go up in the airplane?
  Just 1 person can go up. Because the voucher is for a flying lesson, the regulations only allow the student and an instructor.
• Can anyone go up?
  Participants must be 15 or older, in reasonably good health and able to climb into and out of the aircraft without assistance.
• What type of aircraft will the flight be in?
  A Grob 115 A to be precise, which is a very modern, 2-seat training aircraft.
• What is involved in the lesson?
  They will be given a short briefing from the instructor and introduced to the aircraft and all the equipment. Once airborne they will be taken to our training area and shown maneuvers such as altitude and turns. They will be given control of the aircraft to practice these. It is also possible to fly over an area of their choice with permission from air traffic control.
• How long do they spend in the air?
  The time begins once the aircraft starts up so allowing 5-10 mins for taxiing and take off/landing, they will be in the air for 20-25mins or 50-55mins
• When can vouchers be used?
  Vouchers can be used by appointment only. We fly 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. Winter 8am to 3.30pm. Summer 8am to 8pm. Sometimes there is a long waiting list for weekend bookings, but usually midweek appointments can be made a week or two before.
• How long are vouchers valid for?
  Vouchers are valid for a maximum of twelve months. The exact expiration date will be shown to you when you purchase the voucher.
• What if the person I'm buying a voucher for has already taken a flying lesson or already has a pilot's license?
  That's no problem, our flight instructors will be happy to do a more advanced lesson or a refresher flight with someone who already has some experience at flying. The lesson may also be logged.
• What do the vouchers look like?
  Here is an example of our electronic vouchers (actual vouchers will have higher resolution of course).
